While we have always had a strong interest in health and nutrition, it became vitally important to us in the mid-1990s when we were involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. It was not our fault but that really doesn't matter when you're lying in a hospital bed with numerous broken bones and facing a long recovery. Mark escaped any serious breaks but was badly battered and got to regrow lots of skin; Donna had two crushed legs and would ultimately require 5 surgeries and 6 months to learn to walk again. We were given excellent care by the medical staff but soon discovered that doctors trained in Western medicine know little to nothing about nutrition and its importance to the human body, and even less about anything not created by a pharmaceutical company. After several months of no bone regeneration, Mark began doing his own research into natural supplements that might help Donna heal and regain her mobility. He found the right nutrition and Donna quickly healed.

That began what has become yet another passion in our lives -- helping people regain their health and happiness with natural healing compounds. Happily, we're both fine now, although still fun-loving and crazy enough to be planning a Florida-Alaska motorcycle trip!

On the business front, we have been entrepreneurs for over 40 years and created many successful companies including a racing motorcycle shop, software design firm, computer sales and service, internet service provider, satellite TV sales, and a graphics design firm. In 2005 we owned 4 retail stores with 35 employees and completely burned out on "brick and mortar" businesses, employee headaches and having no control over the economic factors that can affect conventional businesses. We sold four of the businesses we owned at that time and vowed never to be owned by a conventional business again! We went to the Florida Keys and decompressed for 6 months and had a nice RV built and then spent the next 3 years travelling the U.S.

Mark drove the blue pickup and had a touring motorcycle in the bed while pulling a 40' 5th wheel trailer using a towing adapter (65' long total!). Donna drove the hemi pickup and pulled the boat. We had all the toys with us including fishing, scuba and skydiving equipment and drove from the Florida Keys to San Diego to Oregon. Family and friends drove and flew to stay with us as we travelled, we had a blast!

But we wanted to be financially free for the rest of our lives so we sold the rigs and settled in St. Augustine, Florida to start the next phase of our lives: Operation Enduring Freedom!

Interwoven with our careers in traditional business was the firm belief that network marketing was the solution to the frustrations and limitations of those "brick and mortar" stores. Our journey into the world of network marketing actually began as far back as 1975 and over the last 35 years we have built several successful distributorships, primarily in the field of health and nutrition. We have been named one of the top 10 distributors in 3 companies, won sponsoring contests, enjoyed lots of travel and many free trips. We enjoy mentoring and helping people achieve their life dreams through network marketing and believe completely in that business distribution model. We feel that network marketing is the purest form of free enterprise that exists and many top entrepreneurs including Donald Trump, Warren Buffet and Richard Branson agree. The only thing that can hold you back in network marketing is the 6 inches between your ears.
