Kathleen Deoul - Wellness Expert
Kathleen Deoul has emerged as one of America's leading advocates of alternative and complementary medicine.
She first entered the corporate world as a sales representative with Exxon Office Systems, rapidly becoming one of that company's top ten sales representatives. It was not long before Exxon recognized her management skills as well, making her the firm's only female Branch Operations Manager. She was the only woman in the nation to be named to such a senior position. Exxon's faith in Kathleen's management skills was well justified. In just twelve months, she improved her division's ranking from 55th in the nation to 5th! In recognition of her achievements, Exxon invited Kathleen to join its prestigious "President's Club".
Despite her success at Exxon, Kathleen was an entrepreneur at heart. As a result, in 1983 she left the firm to embark on a new career path as owner of "Business Quarters", a firm that provided "turnkey" office suites and administrative services to Fortune 500 corporations and international contracting firms doing business with the Department of Defense.
Over the next thirteen years, Kathleen built a multi-million dollar operation that was among the most successful in the nation. In 1995, Kathleen sold her business suites to embark on yet another entrepreneurial endeavor.
She had discovered the world of "alternative" medicine. Establishing a home-based business which allowed her to work from home while raising her daughter, Kathleen founded her second company, Wellness Alternatives, Inc. Representing magnetic products which brought great relief from her suffering with Fibromyalgia, Kathleen achieved the highest rank of Royal Diamond and was chosen as Nikken's 1999 "Distributor of the Year." She was also honored as one of Nikken's first members in their Millionaire's Club, and was invited to be in President's Club.
Never one to rest on her laurels, in 2001 Kathleen established her third company, Cassandra Books, a publishing firm specializing in wellness and complementary medicine. An ardent advocate of health freedom, Kathleen has also established the Foundation for Alternative and Complementary Therapies, or FACT, to help improve the public's understanding of and support for innovative medicine. In 2005, Kathleen became aware of the looming problem of electro-pollution from cell phones, computers, laptops, PDA's, etc. Understanding the magnitude of illnesses and diseases caused by exposure to EMR (electromagnetic radiation), Kathleen became a distributor of products that protect the body from near and far-field radiation plumes, as well as exposure to "background" radiation.
Kathleen was chosen as BIOPRO Technology's Consultant of the Year for two successive years, and won the award for top volume in the world for two consecutive years.
Kathleen became aware of a unique liquid zeolite product when her friend was diagnosed with a life ending disease. She had been given a prognosis of four to six weeks to live. Kathleen Deoul - Network Marketing Background
Mine is a story that almost didn't happen. In the mid 1960's, cousins who had joined one of the first network marketing companies prospected my husband and me, as well as our whole family. We were so thrilled for their excitement about their new business, but not at all interested for ourselves. The cousins never spoke to any of us again.
Ten years later, two headhunters approached me to interview with a vice president of a large, multi-national firm looking for a strong female with sales experience. As one of the top ten sales reps for Exxon Office Systems, I still kept my options open for a position with more upward mobility. After confirming that the interview was not with a network marketing company, I agreed to meet with the vice president.
When they delivered me to my destination, I found myself in a network marketing meeting with the same company I had turned down 10 years earlier. My fury at being lied to was eclipsed only by my now very virulent feelings toward the network marketing industry! I demanded to be brought home by the headhunters who had clevery orchestrated this meeting.
They insisted I remain and listen to the presentation before they took me home. At this point, wild horses could not drag me back into that meeting room. I told them I would be waiting for them out on the front steps of the building. I sat there for three hours!
Following that incident, I was prospected by dozens of network marketers, all of whom I politely turned down.
In 1993, after 9 years of illness, a relative approached me about network marketing. I was unreceptive. But she left me with a product to try. I did. I had such stunning results that I called her the next day and enrolled "just to purchase products at wholesale". Within two weeks my quality of life was completely changed! I had my life back!
That was an epiphany! When one is given such a gift, one feels responsible to give the gift to others. With no intention of working the business, but with every intention of "paying it forward", I started to share knowledge of the products in every spare moment I could steal from my busy life. Within 3-1/2 years my income exceeded $83,000 per month!
Understanding others' reluctance to enter the network marketing arena due to circumstances that mirrored my own, I was very careful about how I approached people. My integrity was at the forefront of every approach I made.
In 1995, I sold my multi-million dollar corporate business and went full time into network marketing. I've never looked back.
I believe network marketing is the purest form of free enterprise we have in business today. Working from home creating a limitless, residual income trumps trading your time for someone else's dollars in corporate America.
